WASHBURN COUNTY — What started as a traffic stop for a wrong-way turn on U.S. Highway 53 in May 2024 in Washburn County led authorities to a driver with multiple prior drunk-driving convictions, a revoked license, active felony warrants, and a vehicle loaded with alcohol, firearms, and ammunition.
Now, Dana Wobschall (70) of Mauston, WI, has been sentenced in Washburn County Circuit Court on convictions from the incident.
