SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Felony theft charges are proceeding against a Sawyer County contractor after he allegedly took more than $21,000 for siding work that was never completed.
According to a criminal complaint, 44-year-old Matthew Loser, owner of MAAK Construction in Winter, WI, accepted thousands of dollars in payments for materials and labor but repeatedly delayed the project with excuses and never finished the job or returned the money.
