A potential winter storm will start to affect the Northland Wednesday and continue into late week. There continues to be model differences in the track, strength, and speed of the storm which all affect the amount of snow and strength of winds for the Northland.
The threats include: Strong winds, which coupled with snow loading on trees may cause additional power outages, blowing snow and low visibility. Significant snow accumulation is expected, although the snow will be less dense and fluffier than the snow with the previous storm. Dangerous wind chills will also be a threat.
