(NWS) -- Snow will move in this afternoon and spread from southwest to northeast. Expect the heaviest snow to fall late this afternoon and evening. Accumulations will generally be in the 2 to 4 inch range for most locations.
Locally higher amounts are possible along the North Shore and in the higher elevations of northwest Wisconsin.
If traveling, make sure to allow for extra time as roads may become slippery.
Winter Weather Advisories begin this afternoon and will end once the snow tapers off late tonight into Wednesday morning.
