Winter Storm This Week - Tuesday Morning Update

• A complex winter storm will bring a period of winter weather to the region Tuesday through Thursday.
• Heavy Snow- Snow totals in excess of 6” for much of the area. Amounts in excess of 12” expected along the North Shore into the Arrowhead.
• Mixed precipitation- Rain or freezing rain mixing in could affect snow totals. Most mixed precipitation expected over northwest Wisconsin and Interstate 35 corridor of Minnesota.
• Snow Loading and Strong Winds - Wet, heavy snow combined with gusty east winds, could lead to some white-out conditions and power outages.
