A winter storm will bring snow across much of the region Friday. Some locations in Northwest Wisconsin can expect 8-10", with lesser amounts as you head north, according to a Situation Report (SitRep) from Barron County Emergency Management.
Snow will be heaviest in the afternoon into the early evening hours with snowfall rates of an inch per hour possible across southern Minnesota into west-central Wisconsin.
Snow could lead to slick roads and reduced visibility. Slow down and allow for extra time to reach your destination, and continue to monitor the forecast for important updates.
