WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Criminal charges were recently filed against a Rice Lake, WI, man after crime lab test results showed that he had methamphetamine and oxycodone in his blood during a May 2025 dangerous, erratic driving incident.

A sheriff’s deputy observed a vehicle repeatedly cross the center line on a rural stretch of Highway 70, even with oncoming traffic, and conducted a traffic stop, leading to the arrest of Scott Lee Miller, Sr., age 57, who has previously been convicted six times of operating under the influence.
