MADISON, WI -- Gov. Tony Evers previously announced that he is seeking applicants for Rusk County District Attorney. The governor announced today he is accepting applications on a rolling basis until the vacancy is filled.

The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by District Attorney Ellen Anderson’s resignation, effective Feb. 9, 2024. The new district attorney will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 2025.
