BURNETT COUNTY — A Webster man is facing multiple felony drug charges after prosecutors allege a late-night traffic stop uncovered significant quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine inside his pickup truck.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Burnett County Circuit Court, Richard Chenal, 46, was stopped on January 28, 2026, for a broken taillight on State Highway 35. During the stop, a Burnett County Sheriff’s Deputy allegedly discovered distribution-level amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded 9mm handgun inside the vehicle. Chenal remains subject to bail bond conditions as the case proceeds.
