POLK COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Criminal charges are proceeding in Polk County Circuit Court following a pair of disturbing incidents in the summer of 2025 that led to a long list of felony drug-distribution charges against 33-year-old Richard Hatcher of Osceola, WI. Deputies allegedly found large quantities of narcotics, drug-processing equipment, and evidence of heavy methamphetamine use at Hatcher’s Ridge Road residence.
According to criminal complaints, the investigations began with a June 2025 welfare check involving a frightened child and escalated in August when a domestic dispute call reportedly uncovered more drugs, including cocaine, fentanyl, and meth, inside a vehicle at the property.
Hatcher is subject to a $150,000 cash bond and has received additional charges of battery to a prisoner in a third Polk County case filed against him more recently.
