SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - The Court has sentenced Calvin Riley, of Webster, WI, for a fentanyl related conviction stemming from a lengthy investigation into a May 2022 Sawyer County fentanyl-related overdose death. The autopsy report confirmed that the overdose victim died of fentanyl toxicity.
Riley was also sentenced for a narcotics conviction on charges from a 2020 drug investigation in Sawyer County that led to the seizure of a firearm, heroin, and nearly $2,000 cash.
