BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) - An assault case that began with a violent confrontation at a North Bass Lake Road residence in Burnett County has now concluded in court, with a plea agreement bringing the matter to a close more than a year later.
The case stemmed from a July 2024 incident in which deputies were called to a reported assault that left one man injured with multiple head wounds and led to multiple felony charges against 47-year-old Nicholas Morseth, of Danbury, WI.
Morseth was sentenced during a court hearing on December 11, 2025.
