WISCONSIN -- GOP businessman Bill Berrien formally launched his bid for governor today, according to a press release from his campaign. Berrien is the second GOP candidate to announce a run for Governor following Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann’s announcement in May.
PRESS RELEASE
WHITEFISH BAY, Wisc. — Former Navy SEAL, Wisconsin manufacturer, and political outsider Bill Berrien announced his campaign for governor on Wednesday.
On his decision to run for Wisconsin’s highest office, Berrien said in a statement, “Bureaucrats and politicians like Tony Evers have failed Wisconsin. They sold our land to China, encouraged illegal immigration in our communities, and welcomed boys into our daughters’ sports and locker rooms. The time for change is now. As a former Navy SEAL and Wisconsin manufacturer, I’m committed to putting Wisconsin citizens first. I believe in building American, hiring Americans, and taking the fight to China. I’ll back the blue and get criminal illegal immigrants off our streets, and as a dad and coach, I promise to protect our daughters. Just like President Trump, I’m a political outsider and a businessman. It’s time that we fire the bureaucrats and hire a businessman to fix the problems and take our state back.”
Following his time in Army Ranger School and the SEAL Sniper Course, Bill served our great nation as a Navy SEAL for nine years. For the last thirteen years, Bill has been the owner and CEO of Pindel Global Precision and Liberty Precision, manufacturers of precision-machined components.
Today, Bill lives in Whitefish Bay with his wife Betsie, and they are the proud parents of Grace, Will, and Joe. In his free time, Bill volunteers as a coach for his son’s high school lacrosse team.
