BURNETT COUNTY — A Burnett County man charged with his sixth OWI offense following an October 2025 traffic stop has had the charges dismissed.
Eric Widiker (54) of Birchwood, WI, was facing charges of Operating While Intoxicated, 6th Offense, and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, 6th Offense, following an October 2025 traffic stop on County Road H near Lakeview Church Road. Widiker’s preliminary breath test registered .07, while subsequent blood testing showed an ethanol concentration of .099 g/100mL.
The charges, however, will not proceed as the Court has granted the State’s motion, dismissing the case against Widiker.
