SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Authorities say a tip about a wanted man led Sawyer County law enforcement to a Moreland Road residence on November 16, 2025, where an investigation quickly escalated into a significant drug seizure and two arrests.
Law enforcement reportedly recovered methamphetamine that had just been sold minutes before their arrival, and a subsequent search warrant uncovered fentanyl, marijuana, counterfeit currency, drug paraphernalia, and other evidence of drug trafficking.
Two men, 44-year-old Andy Shannon (pictured on left), of Hayward, WI, and 33-year-old Kanada Lee (pictured on right), of Wyoming, MN, now face multiple felony drug charges as court proceedings move forward in Sawyer County.
