WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A convicted sex offender who was convicted in 2021 in Washburn County Circuit Court for possession of child pornography is now facing new charges for the same.
Jeffery Colegrove, age 42, of Trego, WI, was arrested in October 2025 following a lengthy law enforcement investigation stemming from a CyberTip through ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Data System through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Colegrove was previously charged with possession of child pornography in 2019, later convicted, and sentenced to prison time. He was released in July 2024 on parole.
The new criminal complaint against Colegrove alleges that in January 2025, he added files depicting child sexual abuse to a collaborative board on Pinterest.
