Janet Protasiewicz, a judge on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, has won a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, giving liberals their first majority on the state’s highest court in 15 years.
With 96.8% votes in, Protasiewicz has 1,018,800 (55.5%) votes to Kelly’s 817,942 (45.5%). With 61,606 estimated votes remaining, even if Kelly would win 100% of those votes, he would still fall well short of a victory.
