RUSK COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Criminal charges are proceeding in Rusk County Circuit Court following an investigation into allegations that a Ladysmith, WI, teacher sent inappropriate messages and a sexually explicit video to a student under the age of 16.
The case was brought to law enforcement after school district officials reported the matter to police, prompting an investigation that led to the arrest of 28-year-old Kayla Vavra.
