BURNETT COUNTY — A criminal case filed in Burnett County Circuit Court alleges that a Milwaukee woman assaulted a resident, broke into a nearby home, and stole a Louis Vuitton bag with an iPad inside before being located by law enforcement in a wooded area.
Upon being found, Randi Lynn Songetay, 43, allegedly refused to exit a wooded area, resulting in the fire department having to cut down small trees to create a path for her to be carried out on a moving device.
Songetay is facing multiple felony charges, including battery to an elderly person, burglary, and theft. She is due back in court on July 30, 2026.
