WASHBURN COUNTY — A former Spooner, WI, woman accused of exposing a minor to graphic sexual activity has resolved her criminal case through a plea agreement, avoiding a scheduled jury trial and possible felony conviction in Washburn County Circuit Court.
A criminal complaint was filed against Helen Teegarden (37) in August 2024, alleging that she caused a child known to her to view sexual activity.
Teegarden entered her new plea during a September 15, 2026, court hearing.
