SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - The first of two women who were charged following a non-fatal drug overdose at the Sawyer County Jail has been sentenced. Dana Barber, age 39, of Hayward, and Nicolette Trepania, age 31, also of Hayward, were both charged criminally after Trepania overdosed on Fentanyl that Barber allegedly brought into the Sawyer County Jail by concealing it in her person.
Trepania (pictured right) was sentenced at a recent court hearing, and Barber (pictured left) is scheduled to have a jury trial on her charges.
