WWII Memory Book Found on HWY 70

SPOONER, Wis. -- A photo album was found on State Highway 70 in Washburn County by community members Shawn and Tiff Hopwood. It is a “personal book in honor of their Dad’s life.”, say Shawn and Tiff in a Facebook post. “ A man who fought and survived WW2.”

This book does contain photos referencing the 104th Timberwolf Division, however, no name is listed inside the book.

Shawn and Tiff stated to DrydenWire.com that the book was found today, July 26, 2018 at 11:00a between the Seal King shop and the Lake and Trails shop about 1.5 miles west of Spooner on Highway 70.

If you have any knowledge of the man in the photos, please call Shawn and Tiff at 715.416.0471.

Let’s try to connect the book with the family members of the man it was made in honor of!
