
In Memory of Allen L. Frank
Allen Leland Frank, age 92, of Clear Lake, WI, died on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery, WI, where he has lived for the past three years.
Allen was born on March 17, 1932, in Forest Township, the son of Lester and Delia (Bethke) Frank. He grew up in Forest Township and was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Allen attended Woodland School in Forest and then graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1951. He married his high school sweetheart, Jean Kathleen Oas, on September 1, 1951, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. They celebrated 73 wonderful years together. During those years, they purchased an 80-acre farm in Clear Lake Township, added another 140-acre farm, added 100 head of Holstein cattle, a BIG garden, and raised four wonderful children – Robert, Richard, Rita, and Ryan. Allen was a member of Moe Lutheran Church for many years and dedicated his life to his family, friends, farming, fun times, hunting, and traveling coast to coast in either a motorhome or on a motorcycle. In 1990, Allen sold the family farm to his son Richard (Lucinda) Frank, built several homes, and spent 30 amazing winters in Apache Junction, AZ. Allen and Jean eventually retired in Amery, WI. Allen will be sorely missed by his family and countless friends.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Delia; son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Frank; grandson, Benjamin Frank; brother, Lester Frank; sisters, Rosie Soderberg, Carol Peche and Marilyn Norling.
Allen is survived by his spouse, Jean Frank, and his children: Richard (Lucinda) Frank, Rita (Bruce) Ward, and Ryan (Mary) Frank. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Luke (Kristine) Frank, Amy (Brian) Frank, Rebecca (Michael) Draxler, Alida (Paul) Ward, Micah (Jenna) Frank, Brandon (Melanie) Frank, Joel (Erica) Frank, Benjamin (Lisa) Frank, Abby (Josh) Wold, Brandy (Jake) Greenberg, Issac Ward, and Briana (Montana) Edwards, along with many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; as well as his brother and sister in law, Dean Soderberg and Berdeen Frank, and many friends, family, and relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Moe Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, WI. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Moe Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, WI.
The clergy will be Pastor Margaret Grant, the music will be by Briana Edwards, and Interment will be at Moe Lutheran Cemetery in Clear Lake, WI.
