Alta Logan, age 55, of Dundas, Minnesota, passed away on March 28, 1024 at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Alta was born on August 23, 1968 to Lawrence and Joyce (Soward) Logan in Ladysmith, the youngest of 9 children. In the early 70’s, the family moved from their farm near Hawkins to Bruce.

Alta graduated from Bruce High School in 1986. She then went on to earn a degree in business from Saint Scholastica College in Duluth. Alta went to work for Jerome Foods in Barron, later transferring to Faribault, Minnesota. Later, returning to school for importing and exporting, traveling to different cities in Asia, Europe and the Netherlands. She later worked for Wells Fargo as a loan officer. She then worked for Border Foods where she once again traveled. Eventually, working for Unique Clothing and Discount Store as a manager.

Alta loved to travel taking trips all over the United States and Mexico. She enjoyed camping with family and friends, the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR.

She is survived by sisters, Dawn Stokes of Barron, Diana Lybert (Dwight Taylor) of Bruce, Bonnie Simons of Weston and Susan (Mark) Hom of Barron; brother, John Logan (Sherri Thomas) of Bruce; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Joyce; brothers, David, Ricky, Rocky; and brother-in-law, Guy Stokes.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Alta at Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sheldon.
