
In Memory of Amy L. (Beyer) Halverson
The family of Amy Lynn (Beyer) Halverson is saddened to announce her passing on the morning of August 2, 2026, from her 3-year battle with cancer.
Amy was born on August 27, 1975, to Bruce and Helen Beyer at the ARVM Amery Hospital. She was baptized and confirmed at the United Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm, and graduated in 1993 from Prairie Farm High School.
Amy married Lonnie Halverson on August 4, 1996, and together they had three sons. Amy had a passion for children and was a natural caregiver.
She took courses in Early Childhood Development at WITC and started her childcare career at Rainbow Daycare Center in Barron. Thereafter, Amy transitioned to in-home childcare for much of her life and became a stay-at-home mom of 3 sons.
In addition to Amy’s caregiving passion, she enjoyed camping trips and hiking with her friends and family at Interstate Park, Pattison State Park, Willow River State Park, and Fawn-Doe-Rosa. She would prioritize the safety and comfort of spiders, snakes, and all of God’s other creatures.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Lonnie Halverson; sons, Tristan (Sophia) Beyer, Reece Halverson and Caden Halverson; granddaughter, Ava Beyer “Buggy”; mother, Helen Beyer; father, Bruce (Deb) Beyer; brother, Joseph Beyer; sister-in-law, Angie Harmon; brother-in-law, Lance (Katie) Halverson; 7 nieces and nephews; 4 great-nieces and nephews.
Amy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Orville and Irma Beyer; maternal grandparents, Nick and Bernice Lillie; aunt & godmother, Bonnie Johnson; in-Laws, Roger and Joyce Halverson and Lee & Luke Halverson.
