She was preceded in death by her father, John Volkert; her grandmother, Patricia Miller; and her grandparents, John and Delores Volkert. Amy’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith and boundless love for others. She loved the Lord with all her heart, a devotion that radiated through her words, actions, and the lives she touched. Her warmth, intelligence, beauty, and ever-present smile made her a beacon of hope and joy to everyone around her.
From an early age, Amy’s life was filled with family gatherings, soccer games, church, and music. These experiences shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.
Amy always had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for dogs, particularly her precious Leo. Her passion for music led her to serve as the Worship Director at World Harvest Church in Rice Lake, under Pastors Char and Bob Pittman, who Amy considered a part of her family. It was there that she met her fiancé, Nathan Miller, with whom she shared dreams of a future.
Amy’s creative talents were extraordinary. She could play any instrument put in front of her. She wrote, produced, and released songs that reflected the beauty of her Heavenly Father. However, her artistry extended beyond music—she authored multiple children’s books awaiting publication.
Through these works, Amy’s legacy will continue to inspire future generations. Amy’s vibrant spirit will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
