Andrew O. Elmer, age 77 of Amery, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22nd, 2026.

Andy was born on April 2nd, 1949 in Amery, Wisconsin. He attended and graduated from Amery High School. On May 17th, 1969, he was united in marriage to Sharon (Waalen) and to this union 2 children were born. His early career was as a cheese and butter maker at various creameries around the area. Later, in his working career, he was a custodian for Bremer bank and Polk County.

Andy was active with Amery Fire Department for over 25 years. In his younger years, in his free time, he could be found with Sharon attending auctions and local parades. Later in life you could find him on his side by side on main street in Amery.

Andy is survived by his two sons, Troy (Angie) and Brent (Tracy Larson); 4 grandchildren, Brittany (John), Sarah (Logan), Erica, and Joshua; 1 great-grandson, Oliver; 1 sister, Debbie Boe; and 5 brothers, Mike, Rick, Tim, Danny, and Jeff. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon; great-granddaughter Paisley; his parents; brother, Ron; sister-in-law, Bette Elmer; and brother-in-laws, Wayne Boe, Joel Adcock, and Dallas Waalen.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, WI. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Little Falls Lutheran Church in Amery, WI with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at the Little Falls Cemetery.
