In Memory of Andrew S. Campo

January 18, 1985 - March 26, 2025

Andrew “Andy” Scott Campo, age 40 lost his battle with diabetes March 26, 2025 at his home in Glenolden, PA.

Born to Scott and Lynn Campo in Rice Lake, WI, Andy grew up and went to school in Rice Lake. In 2004 he moved to Philadelphia, PA with his Mom, Lynn. Andy was the most genuine, kind, gentle soul. The kind of person who would light up a room when he walked in. Witty, charming, silver chain on the outside of his shirt to match the twinkle in his eye, and always ready with a remark whether you wanted it or not. Andy lived his life on his own terms. Growing up, Andy and his brother Tony played sports with the neighborhood kids, video games, and collected baseball and football cards.

Remember seeing that speedy kid with the Dan Marino jersey around Rice Lake in the 90’s? That was our Andy. When he grew up and made his way to the east coast, it should come as no surprise that Andy quickly found a following and made lifelong friends with anyone he encountered. Andy’s place always became the hangout spot for everyone to come by and watch some TV or spend an afternoon looking up the most obscure thing you can think of, and figuring out how to buy it. Andy made a habit of finding the strangest things from all the corners of the world, and he collected them. He was an avid audiophile, with a record collection that could have museum quality pieces in it like a sealed, original UK pressing of The Beatles White Album. Andy’s taste in music knew no bounds. He also loved his cats - Connie, Manchmal, and Sowie So So.

Andy is survived by his father and step mother, Scott and Jen, his brother Tony (Shannon), his nephews Bentley, Chase, and Charlie, his sister Madison, bonus brother Jaysn, his Uncle Greg (Diane) Campo, his Aunt Sheila (Mike) Leider, and his Uncle Jeff (Donna) Holmes, and several cousins.

Andy was preceded in death by his Mother, Linda (2017), maternal grandparents Ron and Betty (Hartmann) Coleman, and Ralph and Nina (Wrights) Holmes, and paternal grandparents Al and Delores (Curtis) Campo. A celebration of life will be held from 11AM-1PM Friday, April 18, 2025 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, with a funeral service to begin at 1PM.

The family kindly asks for no cards or flowers, but please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association, or the SPCA in your area, in Andy’s name.
