
In Memory of Anita M. Sharp
Anita Margie Sharp, age 74, of Rice Lake, WI, died suddenly on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at her home. She was born on November 11, 1951 in Eau Claire, WI to Manuel and Marjorie (Teela) Hanson.
Anita graduated from Memorial High School in Eau Claire, WI. She was married to Robert Sharp on June 2, 1973 in Rice Lake.
Anita worked for Rice Lake Savings and Loan, Bonded Collections, Drake Tax Service, the Rice Lake Chronotype and after retirement she enjoyed working for the Rice Lake School District.
Anita was a member of the Rice Lake Moose Lodge for many years. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed her grandchildren with all of her heart and followed all of their activities, wherever they would go.
Anita loved traveling with her family but it didn’t matter where the family went she was just the happiest to be with them either on the deck or on the boat.
Anita also enjoyed going to the casino, reading, watching Hallmark movies and the Green Bay Packers. She was loving, kind, funny, resilient, strong, welcoming, had a great sense of humor, never knew anyone as a stranger, and loved to socialize.
She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Sharp; 2 daughters, Bobbi (Joe) Weimert and Kristi (Rick) Seelnacht; 4 grandchildren, Addison, Mackenna, Gavin and Olivia; a sister, Donna Patneaude; a brother, Terry (Cindy) Hanson; 3 brothers-in-law, Rick (Beverly) Sharp, Terry Sharp and Larry (Linda) Sharp; a sister-in-law, Linda (Gary) Hougas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Marjorie Hanson; 2 brothers, Allan and James Hanson; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Betty Sharp. Funeral Services and a Moose Memorial Service will be held at 1PM Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held from 11AM-1PM Tuesday, July 7 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals, with interment in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI at 3PM. A celebration of her life will be held from 4-7PM at the Rice Lake Moose Lodge.
