Arlene Marie Czerwinski, age 87, of Hayward, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Hayward Health Services in Hayward, WI. She was born on October 21, 1938, in Colby, Wisconsin, the daughter of Orville and Alvina (Gottschalk) Baumgart. She was united in marriage to Donald J. Czerwinski on September 26, 1959.

Arlene had a rewarding career with Employers Insurance of Wausau, M & I Bank and Time Federal Bank all in the Wausau area, retiring in 2002. She was an avid bowler and gardener and loved watching all the birds and wildlife in the Northwoods. Arlene was devoted to her pets, most recently her Shih-tzu, Maggie.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Donald Czerwinski of Hayward; her children, Lori (Robert) Johnson of Hayward, Debra (James) Brown of Ogema, WI and Jon (Tina) Czerwinski of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Hunter Qualls, Jenny (Darren) Moeller, Megan Czerwinski, and Gavin Czerwinski; great-grandchildren, Lyla, Fletcher and Everett Qualls and Chase and Callum Moeller; sister, Audrey Nienow; sister-in-law, Arlene B. Czerwinski; dear friends of the family, Jaime and Sarah Qualls; and many nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, Arlene is preceded in death by her infant son, Mike Czerwinski; her parents-in-law, Adam and Helen Czerwinski; her brothers-in-law, Raymond Czerwinski and Gary Nienow; and her sisters-in-law, Karon Czerwinski.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Hayward Funeral Home, 15571 W County Highway B in Hayward, where visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.Interment will be private.

The family wished to express their sincere thanks to the caring staff of both Hayward Health Services and Regional Hospice.
