Audrey Spexet, age 93, a longtime resident of Crystal Twp, Spooner, Wisconsin died at her home on Friday, February 18, 2018

Audrey was born on August 26, 1924, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents George and Agnes Milbrath.  After grammar school, the family moved to a farm in Dewey Twp, where she was needed to work and help take care of the farm.  She later met and married a neighborhood boy named George Spexet to which 8 children would be born.  Life took them so several places before making their last move to their farm in Crystal Twp, in 1964, where she has resided since.  Audrey enjoyed being a homemaker and helping care for her family and friends when in need. 

Audrey is survived by her children: Kenneth (Stacey) Spexet of Spooner, Roy Spexet of Spooner, Gary (Debbie) Spexet of Sarona, Cathy (David) Parker of Spooner, Leonard Spexet of Spooner, Peggy Gabrielson of Frederic, 19 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, husband George, sons David and Paul, brother Carl, and sisters Shirley and Lois. 

Funeral services for Audrey Spexet will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018, at 1pm, at the Spooner Funeral Home with Jim Gronning as officiant. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Friday from noon until 1.  Interment will follow at the Spooner Veterans Memorial Cemetery next to her husband.   Casket bearers will be Bethany Spexet, James Spexet, Matt Bray, Constance Derosena, Jessica Klein, and Kenzy Spexet.  Honorary casket bearers will be Vanessa Daily, Audra Paul, Dustin Gabrielson, Allison Spexet, and Scott Parker.
