Barry D. Rehrig, 65, of Clayton passed away at home May 29, 2026.

He was born October 16, 1960, at Andrews Air Force Base, So. Carolina to Raymond D. Rehrig, Master Sergeant USAF, and Inez R. Rehrig.

Barry moved around a lot while being a military child. He graduated from high school in Hawaii in 1979. He joined the army shortly after high school and completed 10 years of military service.

He was married on February 16, 1986, to Serena Tatro in St. Paul, MN. They had 2 beautiful children and resided in Sarona, WI for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Serena (Missy), son, Matthew Rehrig, New Richmond, WI, daughter, Candyce Rehrig Jenny (Carlos), Oakdale, MN, 4 grandchildren, Aubrey Jenny, Ryan, Leo & Chloe Rehrig. One brother Tim Rehrig (Ann), Monks Corner, SC and sister, Pam Rehrig, Ladson, SC, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Inez Rehrig, and brother, Michael Rehrig.

Interment with military honors will be held at Northwestern Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner on Thursday, June 4th, 2026 at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials are preferred to the Arnell Memorial Humane Society, 185 Griffin St. E, Amery, WI 54001.
