In Memory of Benjamin J. Dorner


March 2, 1985 - February 25, 2025

Benjamin John Dorner passed away suddenly on February 25, 2025. Ben was a beloved son, brother and friend who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Good company, a great round of golf (or 2), relaxing while watching a football game. He had a natural way of bringing people together whether on the golf course, around the TV, or just sharing stories and laughs.

Ben was born on March 2, 1985 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from White Bear Lake High School. After high school, he attended St Cloud State University and graduated with a degree in Financing. Ben lived life with passion and purpose. Ben was kind hearted, friendly and always greeted people with a warm smile. He was an avid golfer, loved boating, huge sports fan, and being with friends and family.

Ben is survived by his father, Ronald Dorner and his big brother, Christopher; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his circle of friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in by his mother, Vicky Ann Dorner; grandparents, Clifford S. Swager, Sr & Betty Swager, and Carol & Donald Dorner, uncle Clifford Swager, Jr, uncle Gene Swager.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Gift of Life Transplant House in Rochester, Minnesota” in memory of his mother, Vicky Ann Dorner.

A celebration of Ben’s life will take place from 1 to 3:30 pm with a prayer service at 3:30 pm on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Williamson-White Funeral Home, in Amery, Wisconsin.

Ben’s warmth and presence will be deeply missed, but his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
