Betty Jean Schutts/Gray was born November 11, 1933 in Dunn County Wisconsin to Scott Edward Schutts and Gladys Anderson/Schutts.

Betty graduated from Prairie Farm in 1951. She married James D. Gray on June 5, 1954 at West Akers Lutheran Church, New Haven Township, WI. Betty worked as assistant bank manager for 25 years in Cushing, Wisconsin, but also was a housewife and helped on the family farm. She also did cleaning for many businesses and some waitressing. She loved cleaning, yardwork, painting and keeping everything in sight perfect, as anyone can attest to that has been to her home. She also would help others in any way she could. She loved God’s Word and spent many hours reading and praying for her family and friends. She passed away on September 26, 2024 peacefully at home with her sons, James and Jon.

Betty is preceded is death by; father, Scott Schutts, mother, Gladys Schutts, husband, James D Gray, son, Timothy C. Gray, sister, Audrie Helendrung.

Betty is survived by sons, James S Gray/Margie, Jon D Gray/Becky, brother Eugene Schutts, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be: Graveside Service, Tuesday, October 1, at 2:30 pm at New Home Cemetery, 2254 220th Avenue, St Croix Falls, WI 54024

Memorial Service, Saturday, October 12, at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 216 Milltown Avenue N, Milltown, WI 54858.
