In Memory of Beverly A. (Byers) Licciardone


November 5, 1943 - March 23, 2025

We celebrate the remarkable life and the passing of Beverly A. Licciardone, the esteemed owner of Chief Lake Lodge in Hayward, Wisconsin, who passed away on Sunday, March 23rd at the age of 81.

Beverly and her husband, Rudolph "Rudy" Licciardone Sr., purchased Chief Lake Lodge in 1977, transforming it into a cherished family-run establishment. Following Rudy's passing in 2005, Beverly continued to manage the lodge alongside her son, Rudy Jr., daughter Luayne and granddaughter Lea, embodying the spirit of hospitality and community.

Beverly's dedication made Chief Lake Lodge a beloved gathering place, known for its warm atmosphere and scenic views of the Chippewa Flowage. Her legacy is carried on by her children, grandchildren, who continue to uphold the family tradition. Beverly's unwavering commitment and love for her family and community will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Rudy Licciardone, Jr. and Luayne Licciardone, both of Hayward; six grandchildren; Ryan Wehrman, Brett Wehrman, Elizabeth Reed, Cassandra Reed, Brittney Licciardone, and Lea Licciardone; her great-grandchildren, Logan, Madelyn, Ty, Brady, Nia Levi and Kingsley; and by her loving dog, Callie Ann.

In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudolph Licciardone Sr.; her brother, Gary Byers; and her grandson, Lance Reed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at Hayward Wesleyan Church, 10655 Nyman Avenue in Hayward, where the visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the service at 11:00 A.M.
