In Memory of Beverly J. (Fernquist) Salveson
Beverly Joan Salveson, 95, passed away in Hayward, WI on December 19, 2024, surrounded by her family.
She was born May 9, 1929, in Superior, WI, the daughter of the late Carl Fernquist and Eva (Smith) Fernquist.
Beverly married Robert J. Salveson on April 29, 1950, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Superior, WI. The couple resided in Superior where they raised their four daughters.
She had a great sense of humor, she enjoyed reading, puzzles, going for long walks and loved to listen to old-time music. When a good song came on you could catch her stepping to the beat. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Beverly is survived by her four daughters, Diane Ormston of Seattle, WA, Peggy (Larry) Haworth of Seattle, WA, Shirley (Bob) Larson of Hayward, WI, and Penny Kay of Seattle, WA; 5 grandchildren, Ronald (Angela) Haworth of Seattle, WA, Robert (Lindsey) Haworth of Seattle, WA, Marena (Wesley) Hand of Seattle, WA, Justin (Rachel) Kay of Seattle, WA, and Hayley Kay of Seattle, WA; 8 great-grandchildren, Jack (Monica) Haworth, Emma (Jeff) Thomas, Fletcher Haworth, Naomi Haworth, Kyle Haworth, Maya Kay, Nina Kay and Douglas Haworth all of Seattle, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1998, grandson Douglas Haworth in 2013, son-in-law Joseph Ormston, and sisters Jean Midbon, Virginia Fernquist, Ann Marie Midbon, Leona Hughes, Janette Hogan, Bonnie Egnash; brothers Bernard Fernquist, John Fernquist and Carl (Sonny) Fernquist.
A graveside service will be held for Beverly at Greenwood Cemetery in Superior in the spring of 2025.
