Bonnie Lou Corbine, age 68 of old Barbertown, died Sunday, June 7th, 2026, in Duluth, Minnesota.

Bonnie was born on June 5th, 1958, in Hayward, Wisconsin, the daughter of Woodrow Corbine and Ellen Sharlow-Corbine. She grew up in the Skunawong community and went to school at Kinnamon, St. Francis Indian Mission School in Reserve, and graduated high school from Flandreau Indian School in 1976. She took Accounting at CVTC in Eau Claire and worked for Wisconsin Job Service. She moved back home and got a job with the Hayward Police Department, then worked at the LCO Tribal Office as Switchboard Operator. She sold pull-tabs for fund raising events, then started as a file clerk in the Accounting Department where she retired in 2025. She volunteered on the Honor the Earth Committee since the 1980’s, was involved with the AM Vet's Post 1998, and in her free time, liked to play Bingo in Reserve and Keno at the casino. She was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and would often run the football pools for the week.

In 1988, she married Jeff St. Germaine and had three children, Amber Pamela and Joseph, along with brothers and sister, Tony, William and Raeanne.

Bonnie is survived by her brothers: Arnold “John” Corbine Sr., Thomas (Betty) Sharlow-Corbine, Louis Gordon, Leonard Duke Sharlow; sisters: Janet (Duane) Isham, Mary Corbine, Betty Wilson, Neomi (Jerry) Corbine-Miller, 22 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Woodrow Corbine & Ellen Gordon; Brother Joseph “Joker” Corbine and 2 sisters Nyla M. Miller and Cynthia Gordon.

Tribal Funeral Rights will be held at Pineview Funeral Service on Thursday June 11th @ 10:00am and Chato Gonzales will officiate. Burial will be at Round Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin at sundown on Wednesday June 10th, at Pineview Funeral Service.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Joanne Graves, Norma Ross, Jean Martin, Lana Campbell, Alison Cuddy, Brooke Dennis, Christie Quaderer, Sharon Starr, Pat Alexander, Renee Bressette, Rhonda Quagon, Stephanie Colbo and Renee Rusk.

Casket bearers are Talan Quaderer, Junior Bildeau, Bob Corbine, Alex House, Desmond “Aandeg” St. Germaine and Levi Belille.
