Brenda Lee Blank, age 70, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, May 27, 2024 at her residence in Hayward, WI.

She was born on June 8, 1953 in Superior, WI, the daughter of Charles and Marlys (McFarland) Peterson. She was united in marriage to John William Blank on December 18, 1971 at the old Wesleyan Church in Hayward, WI.

Brenda loved working around her home and tending to her flower gardens. She absolutely loved being outdoors surrounded by nature, especially hummingbirds. Brenda had a beautiful voice and enjoyed playing guitar and singing with her brother, Michael and cousin, Lenny. She had a vintage barbie doll collection that she shared with her great-granddaughter, Gabby.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John Blank of Hayward; her two sons, John Steven Blank and Jason William Blank both of Hayward; her grandchildren, Nikolaus, Alyssa, Jaymes, Jaycob, and Jason Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Bellami and Aria; her brothers, Charles (Patti) Peterson of New Glarus, Jackie Peterson and Michael Peterson both of Wisconsin Rapids; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Peterson and her sister, Penny Jo Peterson.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
