In Memory of Brenda L. Henning


November 14, 1960 - April 9, 2025

Brenda L. Henning, age 64, of Barron, WI passed away on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Rice Lake. She was born on November 14th, 1960 to Todd & Patricia (Cummings) Henning at Marshfield, WI. She graduated from Slayton High School at Slayton, MN with the class of 1978. Following graduation, she worked at Sather’s Candy Company, attended beauty school for a short time & had multiple other careers in the care provider field, with the biggest being an EMT for many years. Brenda’s hobbies included Elvis, her beloved dog: Rose, singing, owls, daffodils/roses & bird watching. Her biggest pride was watching her great grandchildren grow, learn & playing with them along the way.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, siblings: Robert “Bob” & Linda, as well as her life partner: Brent. She is survived by her mother: Patricia Henning, son: Patrick (Amanda) Henning, foster daughter: Kathy Vroman, honorary daughter: Stephanie Henning, sisters: Cindy Schwab, Patty (Bruce) Greene & Daphnie (Jim) DeBord, grandchildren: Dylan (Annabel) Henning, Jennessa (Michael) Edwards, Zakary Henning, Hunter Henning, Bryce (Natalie) Henning, Brenden Henning & honorary granddaughter: Kalea Ingles, great grandchildren: Paxton, Zayne, Serenity & 1 unborn, as well as many nieces, nephews, adopted children & grandchildren & other loved ones.

A service commemorating Brenda’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron with Gerard Wilger officiating. Friends may call from 12-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Since Brenda Loved the Packers, the family requests you wear your Packer gear in her honor. There will be a gathering/meal after the service at The Webb in Cameron with more details to come. While flowers/donations are not obligatory, if you choose to honor Brenda’s legacy, please direct any donations to the family to help reduce the unexpected funeral costs rather than sending flowers.
