Brendan James Madsen, age 31, of Rice Lake, WI, died Monday, June 29, 2026 in Marshfield, WI surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 30, 1995 in Rice Lake to Eugene III and Tasha (Snyder) Madsen.

Brendan attended school in the Rice Lake School District. He worked as a cook for Norske Nook Restaurant in Rice Lake for many years. He enjoyed camping, lighting off fireworks, being outside in the woods, hiking, and watching full moons.

Brendan was very protective, free spirited, loyal, loving, gave to others and deeply cared for his family. He is survived by his mother, Tasha (Josh) Meinke; his father, Eugene (Tanya) Madsen; 2 sisters, Gianna Deacon and Gretchen Madsen; step brother, Damian Meinke; his grandmothers, Angela Snyder and Valerie Brandt (Dan); many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Snyder and Eugene Madsen II.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 1-5PM at the Rice Lake Veterans Center, 1404 Macaulay Ave in Rice Lake, WI.
