On January 25, 2025, Rev. Brian Lee Poole went home to be with his Savior.

Brian Poole, age 57, is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa, and his daughters, Faith (Colin) Jensen, Joy Poole, and Grace (David) Wedekind. Those who knew Brian would remember him for his servant’s heart, selflessness and for being a man whose actions always spoke louder than his words. His deeply rooted faith in Jesus and his call to spread Christ’s love to everyone he encountered profoundly impacted those who had the privilege of knowing him. Brian had a rare gift for making others feel heard, seen, and valued. As a husband and best friend to Theresa for 36 years, he loved and protected her ferociously. Together, they made a beautiful team. As a father, he taught his daughters to love Jesus, let go of the small things, and always believe in the power of restoration. Serving as a pastor for more than 25 years, he valued and, more importantly, modeled servanthood from a joyful heart. His greatest desire was “To help people find and follow Jesus.” Brian was an intentional husband, father, and shepherd. Everything he touched with his heart, he made better. He was most loyal to his Lord, wife, family, The Well Community Church congregation, and notably, unwaveringly hopeful for Da Bears and the Cubs. He will be deeply missed by many.

Brian is also survived by his beloved mother Marian Poole; brothers Rodney (Stacey) Poole, Chris Poole; In-Laws Robert and Shirley Bagnowski; Brother-in-Law Todd (Tina) Bagnowski; as well as other family and friends too numerous to count.

He is preceded in death by his father Jerry Lee Poole.

A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 31, 2025, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.  Rev. Timothy Young and Rev. Brandon Kinsey will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
