In Memory of Bruce E. Dahlberg


April 10, 1935 - January 13, 2026

Bruce E Dahlberg, age 90 of St. Croix Falls, WI passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Osceola Hospital surrounded by family.

Bruce was born April 10, 1935 to Carl and Irene (Stowell) Dahlberg. He was brought into Gods kingdom of grace through the sacrament of Holy Baptism on May 30, 1948 and confirmed in the Christian Faith on April 2, 1950. He graduated from Forest Lake High School May 28, 1953. On September 27, 1957 Bruce married Joyce Jo Ann Rimer. They were blessed with 6 children.

Bruce served his country in the Army Reserves. He worked at Anderson Windows in Stillwater, MN and for the Railroad before making his home on a dairy farm in St. Croix Falls, WI in May 1965- where he worked side by side with his wife Joyce working in the fields, milking cows, feeding chickens, pigs, cows and gardening. After selling the farm, they moved to the home where they lived out their retirement. Bruce had several jobs after retiring from farming including welding, working at Polaris Industries and Northwire until he fully retired. Bruce enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, woodworking and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by wife, Joyce J (Rimer); son, Ralph Dahlberg; parents, Carl and Irene (Stowell) Dahlberg; sisters, Delora Hibbard, and Eunice (Archie) Forsell; and brothers, Galen Dahlberg, and Carl (Carol) Dahlberg.

Bruce is survived by sons, Bruce C Dahlberg (partner Chris), and Dennis (Dorothy) Dahlberg; daughters, Debra Gustafson (partner Mark), Desiree (Scott) Madsen, and Deanna (Henry) Dietmeier; grandchildren, Jessi Pratt, Nicole (Brandon) Dyson, Brian (Kristina) Robelia, Steven Gustafson, Gary (Ashley) Gustafson, Beth (Mike) Vold, Kari (Jon) Seelow, Megan (Aaron) Millerman, Joseph (Jenna) Dietmeier, and Jeremy Dietmeier; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice Hanson; brother, Thomas (Betty) Dahlberg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Saturday, January 17, 2025 at St John’s Lutheran Church in Centuria, WI at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial of ashes at Elim Cemetery in Scandia, MN following.
