It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Bryce Johnson, who left this world on February 23, 2025. Bryce was born on May 16, 2000, in Clayton, WI, to his loving parents Kaija Anderson and Travis Johnson.

Bryce was a graduate of Clayton School, where he discovered a passion for History and made lifelong friendships along the way. After graduating in 2018, Bryce began working for Q3, with future plans to pursue his passion for History and pursue a degree in education. In his free time when he wasn’t spending time with loved ones, Bryce was an avid gamer. Through this he developed lifelong friendships with fellow gamers around the country.

Bryce was a fiercely independent young man with a quiet demeanor and strong convictions. He was known for his unwavering beliefs and his dedication to his passions. One of his greatest loves was gaming, where he spent countless hours connecting with friends from all over the country.

Though Bryce may have been reserved in nature, those who knew him best understood the depth of his kindness, loyalty, and compassion. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bryce is survived by his mother, Kaija (Steve) Anderson; father, Travis (Trisha) Johnson; brother, Tyler Ristow; sister, Madisyn Johnson; maternal grandmother, Cindy Wang-Anderson, maternal grandfather, James (Stacey) Anderson; grandparents, Brad and Cindy Ristow; uncles, Troy Johnson, Jacob (Rachel) Anderson, Levi (Jennifer) Anderson, Colby Anderson; aunts, Karie (Eric) Delgado, Lacey Anderson, Jacey (Blake) Kennedy, Dawn Groehler, Christa Ristow, and Sandra Lipke; his significant other, Hayley Marie Van Winkle, along with many other cousins and friends.

Bryce was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Bonnie Johnson.

A celebration of Bryce’s life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 1pm – 5pm at the Clear Lake Area Community Center, 560 5th Street, Clear Lake, WI 54005.
