Carlotta was raised on a farm, attended a one room country grade school, Loyal High School and University of Wisconsin Stout, Menomonie where she earned a BS degree in Home Economics Education. She married Eugene Romsos on June 23, 1962. They celebrated 63 years of wonderful marriage last June.

In 1995 Gene and Carlotta purchased 65 acres of land “up north” on Long Lake where they would eventually built their dream home in 2002. Their home on the lake became the gathering spot for many family reunions and celebrations. Together they enjoyed gardening, landscaping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and water recreation activities along with campfires and picnics. They enjoyed many snowmobile trips including two “out west” near Jackson in NW Wyoming with sons, relatives and friends.
