Carol Frances Jepson, 78, of Williston, ND, and formerly of Cumberland, died Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Trinity Health Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. She was born December 26, 1946, in Cumberland, WI to Frances and Lola (Newville) Jepson, was raised near McKinley and graduated from Turtle Lake High School. She trained as an administrative assistant at Barron County Campus and then UW-Eau Claire which helped her earn her CNA designation. She worked in Barron County nursing homes for over 20 years, then at Hartzell Manufacturing and McCain Foods. Carol moved to Watford City, ND, and took a job as a County Dispatcher for McKenzie County until retirement. Carol was an avid reader who loved Rolos and Diet Pepsi. She took time to visit with as many family as possible whenever back in town, and helped plan the family reunion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Judy (Allan) Seierstad and Nadine Sovig; and great niece, Ariel Briese. Carol is survived by nieces and nephews: Crissa Gauthier, Tom (Staci) Seierstad, Greg (Shelly) Briese, Gayle Summers, and Brian Briese; great nieces and nephews: Kenny (Mai) Marks, Kari Perona, Kasey Marks, Noel Briese, Yolanda Brackee, Joey (Kayla) Briese, Marcus Summers, Savanna Summers, Braedon Albrecht, Selena Weeks, Braelynn Albrecht, Rhyland Fabini, Brently Briese, and Aubrey Briese; cousins, other relatives and friends

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 20, 2025 at Northern Lakes Community Church. Burial will be in McKinley Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kenny Marks, Noel Briese, Kasey Marks, Kari Perona, Savanna Summers, and Joseph Briese. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
