Carol Lee Claude passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2026 at the age of 69.

Carol was born on Nov. 27, 1956, in St. Croix Falls, WI, to Joe and Shirley Claude. She spent her life surrounded by family, caregivers, and friends who loved her deeply and were touched by her unique personality, stubbornness, and strength.

Though Carol faced challenges throughout her life due to special needs. She brought joy, love, and meaning to those around her in countless ways. She enjoyed working at DSI in Siren, crocheting, movies, jigsaw puzzles, and outings with her friend Marty Buskirk. She will be remembered for her concern for others.

Carol is survived by her father; sisters Cindy Eidahl (Bob), Jody Mousel (Alan), Dianne Larson (Tibor Kiss); brothers Larry Claude (Sue) and John Claude (Laura); and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, stepmother Dorothy, and grandparents.

The family would like to express gratitude to the staff and for the hospice services she received at Traditions. Their compassion and care was greatly appreciated. Also, sincere thanks to Donna Grindel for her guidance and support over the years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 12th, 2026, at Rowe Funeral Home in (101 Cedar St W, Frederic, WI 54837) with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private at North Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery (2179 200th St, Centuria, WI 54824).
