Cary Arnold Javener Age 79, of Rice Lake, WI, died with his family beside him on Monday, August 31, 2026 at his son's home in Bloomer, WI. He was born on February 28, 1947 in Rice Lake, WI to Robert and Dona (Pierce) Javener.

Cary graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1965. He was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Era. He received his Radio Telephone Operators License and taught classes to the military personnel. Cary’s duties included performing, testing and repairing the equipment at the Quality Assurance Laboratory and the Communications and the Automatic Data Processing Testing Division.

Cary played bass guitar and drums in a country western band, worked for Hennings Office Supply, self employed in electronics, radio and television repair and worked as a cable locator for Tjader and Highstrom. He was married to Lynne Ehrich on September 21, 1985 in Barron, WI. He loved working on electronics, ham radio, fishing, listening to music and playing, working and building computers.

Cary loved all of his dogs and they were such an important part of his life - he loved taking them all to the dog parks and on daily walks.

He is survived by 3 sons, Justin (Tonya) Javener, Richard Becker and Randy Becker; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 8 siblings, Joy, Bryan, Mark (Mary), Robbie (Audrey), Rodonna (Jim), Paul (Marlys), Delora (Todd) and Charlie (Stephanie); many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynne Javener; a daughter, Roxanne Johnson; his parents, Robert and Dona Javener; and a brother, Kirk. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM Friday, September 11, 2026 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, with interment in the Pleasant Plain Cemetery in Chetek, WI.

Visitation will be held from 11AM-1PM Friday, September 11 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
