Nobember 23, 1949 - March 9, 2018

Catherine M. O’Connor, 68, of Shell Lake, WI, passed away on March 9th, 2018, in Minong, WI, after a long struggle with MS and Cancer, surrounded by loved ones.

Catherine was born in Saint Paul, MN, to John and Lillian (Felton) O’Connor on November, 23, 1949.  Cathy attended Catholic schools.  Until she was no longer able to, she was always reading her romance and true crime books. Later in life she enjoyed fishing with family.  She also had a love of baking and was always making sugar cookies and cakes with her grand kids.

Catherine is survived by: her children; Lillian Colegrove, Minong, WI, Daniel (Kathy) Colegrove, Lake Elmo, MN, grandchildren; Andrew, Danielle, Austin, Catherine, Breanna, Samantha & Heather, great-grandchild, Caroline, Sisters, Margaret “Cookie” (Dave) Killian, Hugo, MN, Nora, MN, and many nieces and nephews.  Catherine is preceded in death by; her parents, John & Lillian (Felton) O’Connor, brothers, Daniel & Thomas, sisters, Lois, Patricia “Pat”, and, Adaline “Dottie”

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer you make a donation to either The National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the America Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to The Spooner Funeral Home.
