Charles Arnold Soholt, age 51, of Spooner, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the University of Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born March 24, 1966 in Shell Lake, WI, the son of Leonard Norman and LaVaurne Mae (Mansfield) Soholt.

Charles worked for many years as a semi-truck driver and held many different positions while working carnivals. One of the things he loved most in the carnival was his mini donut wagon. He was a very hard worker, and was always someone willing to help those in need. Charlie was a loving son, a caring friend to many and will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his mother, LaVaurne Soholt of Ironwood, MI; his step-children, Katie Lyn Dix, Nicole Jessica Dix, Lily Rau, Brayden Rau and Cheyenne Soholt; and his dear friends, John Larue, Scott Larue, Tom Ostrander, Belinda Melton, Brad Boggs, Treana Melton, Tina Melton and Josh Rockhill.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, Leonard “Norman” Soholt.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Spooner Funeral Home, 306 Rusk Street in Spooner, where visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.   Pastor Steve Miller will officiate. Interment will be private.
