Charlotte Louise Harrell Beaupre, 86, of Spooner died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born October 15, 1930 in Superior, WI to George and Lois (Field) Batte. She graduated from Spooner High in 1948 and from St. Joseph Hospital Nursing School in St. Paul, MN in 1950. Charlotte married Robert Harrell on August 25, 1950 in Pine City, MN. She worked for Methodist Hospital in Rice Lake for two years, then moved to the Twin Cities and worked for a nursing home for several years, later moving to Shell Lake and Spooner. Bob preceded her in death on April 17, 1976. 

She then married her high school sweetheart in Shell Lake, WI on October 15, 1977 to Joseph "Sonny" Beaupre and moved to Solon Springs. Charlotte served as a Girl Scout Leader and day camp director, then operated a daycare for special needs children. She was active in the civic club in Solon Springs.

Sonny preceded her in death on November 21, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jim Batte; 2 stepchildren, Kathy Baker and Scott Beaupre.

She is survived by her children: Robert (Joan) Harrell of Eagan, MN, Bruce (the late Kathy) Harrell of Indianapolis, IN, Bradley Harrell of Appleton, Pastor Gregory (Nancy) Harrell of Chippewa Falls, Brian (Kathy Haack) Harrell of Eagan, MN, and Georgia (Michael) Cederberg of Siren; stepchildren: Jeff Beaupre of St. Cloud, MN, Garth "Punk" Beaupre and Cauleen Flint, both of Hayward; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother, George (Jean) Batte of Farmington, MN; many other relatives and friends.

We will celebrate Charlotte's life on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shell Lake United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. Burial will be in Shell Lake Cemetery. A visitation and time to say goodbye will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake, and for 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the church. 

Skinner Funeral Home of Shell Lake is serving the family.
